DC's tradition of excellence is based on its dedication to skateboarding and to those who participate which has now moved on to include snowboarding, surf and MX. Formed in 93, within a few years DC began turning heads in the skateboarding industry. Non-skaters were noticing the distinctive style of DC shoes as well. They showed up on the feet of models in fashion magazines; rock stars, hip hop artists and club kids started wearing them, and snowboarders sported DCs when not on the mountain.
